The Chronofighter Oversize “Titanium SAS” – Limited Edition of 300

What to wear when you’re on a special mission or operating behind enemy lines? The Graham Chronofighter Oversize “Titanium SAS” is an essential part of the answer. Its 47 mm case and large dial guarantee a high degree of legibility even in bad light conditions. Its camouflage dial design blends in with the matching clothes. It features the iconic polished steel indexes in the shape of a “Stealth” bomber with an inlay of Superluminova, the new luminous substance, that is an essential element to make the oversized 12 and the hands glow. Opposite this, at the position of 6 o’clock the SAS coat of arms and motto are embossed to mark the identity of the watch. With its oversize pusher mechanism to operate the chronograph it is ready for action at any time. Being placed on the left-hand side it is well protected under your sleeve, but nevertheless accessible at any moment. The entire interface of the timepiece, that comprises the sturdy sure-grip crown, the start/stop lever and the rectangular reset-button, has been integrated into one robust unit machined out of titanium. To combine size and robustness with light weight the watch case has also been sculpted from this matte metal that underlines the technical character of the watch that is worn on a rubber strap. The watch will only be available in a very limited edition of 300 numbered pieces.
The “Special Air Service” was founded during WWII by members of the British Army and the RAF. It was active mainly in Northern Africa in operations against the German troops under Rommel’s command. Its insignia shows the mythical winged sword Excalibur with the unit’s motto “Who dares wins”.

The Chronofighter Oversize “Titanium SAS” features the new automatic G1734 bicompax calibre with constant small seconds and a 30-minute-counter. It shows the date in a window at 7 o’clock. The fast-winding rotor guarantees for an autonomy of 42 hours.
