Kelly Brook lights up Bond Street
London’s famous Bond Street will be transformed into a snowy winter wonderland on Thursday 20th November 2008 for Bond Noël, the spectacular Christmas shopping event in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
Bond Noël, is a celebration of a traditional Christmas, with snow falling along the entire length of Bond Street, fir trees lining the pavements, reindeer, carol singers, entertainers and musicians, all adding to the atmosphere of this spectacular Christmas extravaganza. Bond Street’s luxury stores offer superb Christmas hospitality, gifts with purchase and other festive delights, while rickshaw sleighs are on hand to whisk shoppers to and from their favourite designer stores
This year Bond Street will enlist a stunning new ‘Bond’ girl to help light up the Bond Noël celebrations, British actress, presenter, model and accomplished dancer, Kelly Brook will be flicking the switch on Bond Street’s Christmas lights. Kelly, currently starring in West End show, Fat Pig, will bring her own glamorous style to a tradition started by Diana Princess of Wales in 1994 and continued by a host of glamorous and talented women including: Elizabeth Hurley, Jerry Hall, Trinny & Susannah, Jemma & Jodie Kid, Thandie Newton and most recently Sophie Dahl.
The event begins at 5pm with the switch on taking place at 6pm on the corner of Old Bond Street and Burlington Gardens. Visitors to Bond Noël can enjoy all the fun of the street’s entertainment as well as Christmas hospitality and luxury Christmas shopping until 8pm, in all the famous stores on Bond Street and the surrounding area. There will also be a chance to win over £10,000 worth of fabulous prizes, donated by Bond Street brands, in the luxury Tombola all in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Gifts include luxury items and hundreds of pounds worth of vouchers from stores such as: Asprey, Cartier, DKNY, Bally, Tiffany & Co., Montblanc and Burberry plus unique gifts experiences donated by Claridge’s, The Ritz London, Brown’s Hotel and The Royal Academy of Arts.
